Description

Our client is currently seeking a confident and motivated professional to join a dynamic team in Ely. This is a fantastic chance to work on a diverse range of projects, taking ownership of commercial management while contributing to a growing business.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of quantity surveying and estimating from pre-contract to post-contract services. You will also assist in preparing final accounts and claims to ensure our client’s commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating services, including Bill of Quantities (BQ) production
  • Delivering quantity surveying services across projects
  • Providing commercial and financial advice to maximise value recovery
  • Managing procurement and contract negotiations
  • Ensuring cost control and cash flow management
  • Managing subcontractor packages and protecting contractual positions
  • Assisting with final accounts and claim documentation
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the business

What They’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Degree or Master’s in a relevant field
  • RICS or CICES qualification (or working towards accreditation)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with planning software
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work
  • Full UK work eligibility and a valid driving licence
