The Position:
As the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing all organizational operations in the railway sector. This senior leadership role requires exceptional expertise in engineering, construction, and commercial management, along with significant international project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Direct and oversee all aspects of organizational operations to achieve strategic objectives.
- Industry Expertise: Utilize at least 25 years of experience in railway or metro projects, with high-speed rail (HSR) experience being an advantage.
- Contracting Background: Lead projects as a contractor, with hands-on experience in multinational environments (consultant or client-side experience not applicable).
- Trackwork Focus: Bring strong expertise in track works / Permanent way (P-way) and related activities.
- Commercial Skill: Excel in contracts, cost control, financing, procurement, and price estimation.
- Engineering Excellence: Possess a strong foundation in engineering and construction disciplines.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain effective relationships with project owners, consultants, and local authorities.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
- Demonstrated success working in a similar capacity overseeing international projects, particularly with multinational organizations.
