A leading provider of high-end joinery solutions in Bahrain specialise in luxury interiors and bespoke woodworking projects are looking for a highly skilled Senior Joinery Estimator to join their team and play a crucial role in our continued success. With a reputation for quality craftsmanship and project excellence, they serve a diverse clientele across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
Role Overview:
The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for joinery projects, ensuring profitability while maintaining the high standards of quality their clients expect. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in joinery estimation within the GCC/Middle East, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of the regional market, materials, and subcontractor networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for joinery projects, considering all materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine costs and develop bid proposals.
- Conduct site visits and liaise with project teams to ensure accurate cost assessments.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing while ensuring quality standards.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry standards, trends, and material costs within the GCC/Middle East market.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates to project managers and clients.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure cost-effective solutions and adjustments where necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in joinery estimation within the GCC/Middle East.
- In-depth knowledge of joinery materials, pricing, and sourcing in the region.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
