Company and Position:
A successful Main Contractor engaged in building and civil engineering projects across Bahrain are recruiting an experienced Procurement Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Review awarded tender documents with respect to IFC drawing and specification.
- Prepare RFQ documents and comparisons and prepare subcontracts order.
- Take off quantity from IFC drawing/Tender Drawing.
- Provide and prepare compliance statements for materials procurements.
- Prepare MAC documents for submissions.
- Evaluate Vendor capability.
- Coordination with client/Consultant for materials.
- Worked with Value engineering options.
- Cost reconciliation.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
- Experience working for Main Contractors in Bahrain or the wider GCC.
- Conversant with FIDIC and JCT.
- AutoCAD Skills.
- Leadership quality and ability to work in a team environment.
- Negotiation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
